As I was preparing to write this post Rainbow and I were having a very bad potty training day. Rainbow is 11 months old. We have been training for 4 months now. We were doing well before the move, and then Ramadan came and it threw me off, thus, throwing off the whole system we had in place.
I am the only one right now who does toilet time with Rainbow because I am the one who is at home. As I said before, our days are up and down, and Rainbow usually dictates what kind of day I will have. Yesterday I cleaned up a huge puddle after he got up from the potty before he was finished. Later on, while I was setting the bath he peed on the bed-skirt (I only figured out what it was hours later). We didn't have a great day.
Rainbow has been using a his Go Diego Go 3 in 1 potty since we started training in June. Before we moved, and he was younger, we used the seat cover on the big toilet (it just worked better for me) since he didn't get the concept of sitting on the potty, and believe me, potty time is not the same with boys as it is with girls.
NOW that he is walking around, we don't have a problem with him getting to the potty, although sometimes, he ups and runs away before we get started, lol.
So goes the journey of our potty/toilet training.
