I'm Salma. Wife to (Guy from the Other Side of the Fence), mom to Iman, Amira, Hussein & Rainbow. I guess I could refer to this blog as the place where I tell stories about how a Jamaican mommy, and a Yemeni daddy create chaos cleaning up cultural and multilingual messes as we try to bring up 2 girls and a boy, but that wouldn't say much about us.
I'm a mom who follows the unschooling philosophy. I am a Muslimah...a professional...a great friend to those in need.  I love Coronation Street (totally random, but worth noting, lol). 

Our home is filled with cultural diversity,  mis-communications and other differences, but Islam is our point of contact, alhamdullelah.Our journey is all about playful world travelling, exploring the wonders of nature, learning to teach (& speak) in tongues (English, Arabic, French), and practicing our religion, Islam.

I've been known to kick things when I lose my cool - never people though- I swear! I'm sort of a Jack of all Trades, so yeah, I can do it all... if you don't believe me, try me, lol.
